A scientist who formerly worked for Lightning and then Millennion, he developed the necrolyzation dead regeneration technique, eventually utilizing it to bring Grave back to life. When Mika came to him, he knew that it was time to let Grave do what he does best. He later died due to an injury when confronting Balladbird Lee in his "Superior" form. The resulting injury, however, gave him enough time to keep Grave alive for another 10 days.

In the game he is killed when a squad of Orgmen break into the safe house while Grave is receiving his blood-refreshing treatment. With his final breath, he asks Grave to save Mika and reveals Grave's former name: "Brandon."
