Gotoh is of the Zoldyck family manager. All contacts with the family members must go through him. An enigmatic and intimidating character, Killua once expressed to Gon his recurring nightmares of Gotoh chasing him with a knife. He is also superb at the "where is the coin" trick. He cares for Killua as if he was his own son.
During the 13th Hunter Chairman Election arc, he is killed in a fight by Hisoka while chasing Killua and Alluka.
