Hiromi Sugita is a ten-year-old boy and the third victim of the serial killer/kidnapper. He had a girly face and a girly name and wasn't good with people. He is also Satoru's primary school classmate in Mikoto Elementary School.

He was killed in order to lead the police into thinking that the suspect did not know that Hiromi was a boy.
After the second rerun and fifteen years after Satoru got into a coma, Hiromi became a physician and married Kayo Hinazuki. They had a son together named Mirai, whom is said to have Hiromi's long eyelashes.
