He is a man of very few words, and is also one of the seven members (originally three) of HE★VENS. Aside from his very brief introduction (where Mikado Nagi got him to talk), the only other thing he had said was a compliment to one of Nanami Haruka's compositions during his debut episode. Compared to his fellow members, he is a very mannerly character.

His father also opposed the idea of Kira becoming an idol, but unlike Masato, Kira took the freedom himself without any influence.
