Nezumi has a strange relationship with Bananya wherein he is chased around by Bananya before they make up and are friends. He is always hungry and Bananya-ko has a habit of feeding him. There is not only one single Nezumi. Rather, an innumerable amount of mice lying in wait in the Bananya house.
