One of the childhood friends of Erza Scarlet. Simon had a crush for her when they were kids. He was the first to find out about Jellal's real intentions and has always believed in her.

Simon later protected Erza from a fatal attack by Jellal. After confessing his feelings for Erza in her arms, he died.

It is later revealed that Simon is Kagura's older brother, and lived in the same village as Erza.
