Toucanmon is a Bird Digimon whose name and design are derived from the toucan (Ramphastos tucanus). It is the Armor Digivolved form of Hawkmon through the Digi-Egg of Kindness and, despite its appearance, is a coward. When it is attacked, it sometimes scares the enemy by standing on the crest on its head and opening its beak widely. It is rather strange looking but also very timid.
