She defeats Ash in their initial gym battle due to her Surskit's sticky web strategy, and her Vivillon. Ash later defeats her after training to counter this strategy. She is a Duke at the Battle Chateau, and needs only one more win to become a Grand Duke. She loses the battle with Zakuro (Grant) for this title.
